BIKEPOLO BEGINNER TAG – 9. MAI 2026, 15:00
Endlich ist es wieder so weit!
Alle die immer schon einmal Bikepolo ausprobieren wollten sind herzlich eingeladen am Samstag 9. Mai um 15:00 (bei Schlechtwetter wird es auf den 16. Mai verschoben) mit oder ohne Fahrrad zum Bezirkssportplatz Kirchnerkaserne (Trattenweg 16) zu kommen und einfach mal das Spiel mit Schläger und Ball zu probieren. Egal ob jung oder alt, gut am Radl oder nicht, ALLE sind willkommen.
Wer ein Fahrrad mit Bremse hat (bitte beachten in welcher Hand man den Schläger hält!) bringt es bitte mit, ansonsten haben wir auch ein paar Räder vor Ort. Schläger stellen wir auch zu Verfügung. Wir empfehlen einen Helm und gegebenfalls andere Schutzausrüstung wie Handschuhe, Knieschützer etc. mitzunehmen.
Wahrscheinlich werden erstmal alle ein bisschen das Rad- und Ballgefühl kennenlernen und dann kann es auch schon ein kleines Testspiel geben.

WHEN DO WE PLAY?
Our Beginner Polo is Fridays 15:30-17:00. “Normal” Polo is Wednesdays 16:00-20:00 and Friday 17:00-20:00. We might be at a tournament, so please get in contact (graz@bikepolo.at) before you´d come.

I WANT TO TRY BIKEPOLO. WHAT TO DO?
Beginners are always welcome! Simply come to our next training session or join our signal group! We happily borrow all the equipment you need.
DO I NEED A BIKE?
No, we have loaner bikes. Just let us know if we should bring them. Also other players will borrow their bikes. But you can use your bike aswell. Just make sure you have a straight bar, low gear and a brake in your non-mallet (non-dominant) hand. If you have any questions, just let us know!
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
Please bring your own helmet and if you prefer additional protectors. We´ll provide a mallet of course!
CAN UNDERAGE PLAY TOO?
Yes. You don´t need to be an adult to play Polo but we strongly suggest to inform your legal care-takers! We don´t take legal responsibility for any action!
HOW CAN I BECOME A CLUB MEMBER?
You can try Bikepolo for free. If you like it and wanna join the club please inform us and we do the rest!
